Love the trees + Save the bees!!
I've been feeling slightly under the weather this week, so Jack and I have spent a significant portion of the week snuggled on the couch.
On our forays into the natural world, we've explored some more of the flora and fauna (do insects count as fauna? I should probably know this...) around the yard.
I noticed these lovely pink blooms in my neighbor's yard last week.
Jack was sniffing around these little purple flowers this morning, as was a little bee!
I plant-snapped both, though I'm not sure how accurate the identification was because my iphone and I don't exactly make the best photography team. It's still really interesting to learn, though!

Hope you are feeling better. I plant-snapped your photo, and according to my app the purple flower is a Mojave Desert Star. Sounds pretty exotic for a wild urban flower. Thanks for posting.
